The Indian Ainu tribe of Japan. Originally settled in Hokkaido, they were displaced by Japan during the Meiji era and became Japanese, but they were still discriminated against. They have maintained their identity and communicate through music. Now, they begin to express themselves through the music of young Ainu people.
