Number Six Silver Statue

After the September Massacre in 1925, Communist Party member Mei Da Dong was entrusted by the leaders of the Anyuan Railway and Mining Club to return to his hometown in southern Anhui with the silver statue of Marx presented by the Communist International. He founded an agricultural school, established the first party branch in southern Anhui, and led the peasant movement.
Three generations of the Mei family protected the precious silver statue of Marx with their firm beliefs and passionate lives.
