Love Without End

A rare case of a remake that approaches the heights of its classic predecessor, Love Without End is as touching as the black-and-white original. Jenny Hu is a worthy successor to the late movie queen Linda Lin Dai in the role of a village girl who becomes a nightclub singer and finds true love, only to have it all threatened by fatal illness. Jenny excels in the part, and won the Special Award for Best Acting at the 1970 Golden Horse Awards.
