Lost Love

Mei and her husband Bun have been stricken with pain by the death of their three-year-old son. One way to cope is to foster children. Beginning with uncertain steps due to the emotional needs of the children, the sometimes hostile attitude of former parents, and the demands of authorities, the couple gradually warm up to the role and soon wins the trust and affection of each of their charges. We watch as the years slide by and a parade of children enter and leave their homes, constantly aware of how the adults grow through dedication to the kids before they face up to the pain of the loss of their son.
