Liu Mei Niang kills Lord Lu in order to get an important jade pendant back for her fiancé Su Heng—only to experience his ultimate betrayal on their wedding night. In response, she kills Su Heng. Afterwards, she and her friend Xiao Chan travel around investigating a series of murders said to be committed by a female Demon who targets newlyweds. One day, she runs into Mr. Xu, the spitting image of her former love Su Heng, and later on his shifu, Master Yu.
